Bencke is an artist who creates dolls from rescued scraps of material - every doll is unique.

The Bencke website was coded in 2006 at my own company, Unconundrum, utilising the artists own fabrics, labels and a hand-stitched logo in the design.

The website required a large showcase of unique dolls to be presented with their own graphical elements, and each doll is placed onto the page in a unique position to prevent the collection from feeling to regimented.

The showcase runs off a single page powered by JavaScript arrays containing all photographic, textual and positioning information.
