The 2006 Yahoo!7 News redesign project required the recoding of templates within the Yahoo! content management system for news articles, photo galleries, video galleries, the homepage and various listing pages for categorising content by type and locality.

The Yahoo!7 News website was an aggregate news provider, bringing together content from Channel 7 News and leading news content providers such as AAP, ABC, AFP, Asia Pulse and Reuters.
